JobDescription:

Company isrecruiting an Automated Test Engineer to work within anAgileDevelopment team. In this role you will work on creatingmaintaining & expanding automated test cases and suites withinthe Ocuco Automation Framework (OAF) as well as work to add newfunctionality to the framework itself. OAFis implemented in C# with Specflow Swagger CodeGen Selenium &Appium so experience in these technologies and .NET environmentswould be an advantage. Good communicationskills are required as the successful candidate will have a lot ofliaisons with developers product owners scrum masters projectmanagers in addition to Ocucos IT and Support teams. The focus ison Quality in a complex technical environment so the individualmust be technical meticulous & thorough wellorganised &have good documentationskills.

Responsibilities:

    • Workwithin an agile scrum team of developers scrum master & productowner to identify test cases suitable for automation and toimplementthem;
    • Troubleshoottest failures in the Continuous Integration pipelines either fixingthem or escalating for applicationfixes;
    • Contributeideas experiences & best practices to the test automation teamto expandOAF;
    • Work withthe team Product Owner and manual QA develop Test Case Scenariosdocument and automate them and perform manual testing whenrequired;
    • Ensureeach release candidate follows a complete test cycle & verifythat it meets Ocucos high standard ofquality;
    • Recordall actions & communications on any issue/query resulting fromtesting into Ocucos tracking system which is currently JIRA perprocedures;
    • Continuouslydevelop & refine own product usage industry training &technical writingexpertise;
    • Mentorother testers whererequired.

Theminimum requirementsare:

  • Proficientworking with test automation tools(SeleniumSmartBear Suite CucumberSpecflow Appium NUnit) (2 yearsdesirable);
  • Experiencein creating and maintaining automated testcases;
  • Experiencein an Agileenvironment;
  • ProficientinSQL;
  • Programming/scriptingskills with one of C# Java PythonPerl;
  • Provenfocus on quality and attention todetail
  • AnITrelatedqualification;
  • Goodcommunicationskills.

Extradesirableexperience:

  • Experiencein the opticalindustry;
  • Experiencetesting RESTAPIs;
  • Mobileapplication experience would be aplus;
  • ContinuousIntegration experience with Jenkins Azure DevOps orsimilar;

Note: Salary up to 20LPA
