  • The Planner based out of Chennai/India willprovide IPTel IPCC infrastructure consulting work out appropriatenetwork infrastructure designs and migration plans per the globalIT Unified Communications standards for Europe Operations.
  • The Planner will produce the Low Level Designand BoM to allow implementation vendor for smooth migration of thesites from traditional PBX to Cisco IPT.
  • Inaddition to creating designs the Planner will preview work with ITspecialists worldwide with the Global Network Engineering team toensure adherence to standards and best practice.
  • The Planner will work closely with and act as SME for thedeployment vendor and the day2 support vendor to ensure that eachdeployment is successful.
Skills Required:
  • 6 years of relevant work experience in relatedarea and increasing responsibility.
  • Industrycertification related to Cisco based IP Telephony Cisco BasedContact Centre. IPCC PABX voice system; routers security operatingsystems etc. are desirable.
  • Cisco VoiceCertification. CCNP / CCNA
  • Requires anadvanced level of competency in complex voice technologiesnetworking technologies and international standards. SpeciallyCisco IP Telephony and deep experience with infrastructuremigrations from the legacy to IPTel (Cisco based)technology.
  • Good leadership communications andfacilitation skills
  • Ability to work in afastpaced customer focused corporate environment.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritizeand multitask.
  • Ability to work effectivelyboth independently and within a team.
  • Selfdirected detailoriented with strong technical peopleand project management/leadership skills.
  • Strong effective communications skills (verbal andwritten) Ability to maintain/build effective working relationships.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows basedplatform (including Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Bachelor degree or higher in a technical discipline
  • English language knowledge: fluent in writtenand verbal
SkillsPreferred:
  • Maintainstrategic understanding of existing infrastructure and itsrelationship to business
  • Drive RollOut of IPTelephony IPCC
  • Ensure optimal voice networkdesign adherence to policies and the global standards
  • Work with Deployment Vendor teams to proactively planmanage implementation of voice services and network for in AP andglobally
  • Act as Project Manager for complexvoice technology design voice network design and PoCimplementations
  • Ensure compliance withinternational regulatory requirements
  • Consultdirectly with IT representatives across the EU region to understandtheir business technical and financial needs
  • Perform as technical SME for all of clinets voicetechnology related services
  • Perform L3technical support and escalation for telecoms voice issues ifrequired
  • Maintain productive relationshipswith suppliers of telecoms products services to increase knowledgeabout new network services and equipment including Cisco Systems
  • Provide technical and management support topeers
  • Travel as appropriate
  • Work outside of normal business hours as be necessary
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously withcritical deadlines
