Responsibilities:

  • Develop andmaintain the backend infrastructure for a generative AI platformensuring optimal performance scalability andreliability.

  • Design and implementworkflow orchestration solutions using Python and Terraform tostreamline and automate processes within the AIprogram.

  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to gather requirements develop technical specifications anddeliver highquality code in an Agileenvironment.

  • Utilize DevOps bestpractices to continuously integrate test and deploy code updatesensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency using approvedstrategic tooling (Jira Clarity Rally) to manage and prioritizebacklog requirements andreporting.

  • Leverage Azure platformexperience to build and manage cloudbased infrastructure optimizingfor cost performance and security using products such as AzureDevOps Azure App Service and AzureFunctions.

  • Stay uptodate with thelatest industry trends and advancements in AI analytics and backendsystem engineering to ensure competitiveness andinnovation.

  • Participate in codereviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering aculture of continuous improvement and knowledgesharing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complextechnical issues working closely with other team members andstakeholders to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on theAI program.

  • Develop and maintaincomprehensive documentation for the backend systems includingarchitecture diagrams API specifications and operationalguides.

  • Actively contribute to the ongoingimprovement of regulatory compliance by ensuring all backendsystems adhere to relevant data protection and privacy regulationsas well as internal policies andprocedures.

TechnicalKnowledge:

  • Proficient inPython.

  • Must have experience in promptengineering using LLMs

  • Experiencewith popular Python web frameworks such as Flask orFastAPI.

  • Experience in Machine Learning andDeep Learning.

  • Experience/knowledge inusing Generative AI /OpenAI LLMs i.e. GPT NLPTransformers.

  • Exposure to OpenAIservices in Azure will bepreferred.

  • Experience working in acloud environment such as MicrosoftAzure.

  • Proficient in using versioncontrol systems such as Git.

  • Knowledgeof relational databases such as SQLServer.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript wouldbe beneficial.

  • Ability to write unittests and conduct TestDriven Development(TDD).

  • Experience working with CI/CDpipelines for automated build testing anddeployment.

  • Experience working inan agile environment.

  • Ability towrite clear and comprehensive documentation for code andAPIs.
