What You'll Do

  • Coach an Agile team and own team business and operational delivery goals.
  • Work closely with Product Management to deliver solutions that delight our customers and enable their success
  • Solve technical challenges by deep-diving into the technical details of the challenge along with engineers from the team.
  • Identify project delivering risks and issues. Provide options and justifications for mitigations.
  • Encourage and empower the team to take ownership of the team’s success
  • Hire, mentor, coach, and help each team member to set career direction and grow.
  • Support and enable our continuous refinement of process, structure, and techniques to optimize testing infrastructure, continuous delivery, and progression to SaaS.
  • Create and collaborate on tools that allow us to analyze software development approaches using innovative data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage operations on-call team.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience managing a software development team
  • 5+ years of experience leading a software development team
  • 1+ years of e xperience leading a remote / distributed teams and projects.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Led and helped to evolve a collaborative and productive software engineering team.
  • Technical acumen to deep-dive into challenges and are able to lead technical discussions with technical team members and enable teams to solve problems.
  • Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based solutions
  • Process and project management skills, such as Agile scrum or Kanban, etc.

Great candidates have :

  • Work experience with Java, and its idioms and design patterns.
  • Design and architecting software modules.
  • Experience as an individual technical contributor.
