- About the Role
The team member will be a member of a team of data management consultants that drive builds of the Enterprise Reference Data Application. This individual will be responsible for working with internal Data Management Insights (DMI) and external business partners to complete the vision of Internal/External Reference Data Management application supporting non-discretionary risk and regulatory work. This work will require extensive business knowledge of Reference Data (both Internal /External) across the Enterprise coupled with strong data analytic skills to ensure the Reference data within Organization meets requirements and creates sustainable solutions. This person will grow relationships with our partners by identifying and creating Reference Data business requirements to support the transformation Internal/External Reference Data solution.
- Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation of automated Data Quality Processing
- Create Data Profiling Routines
- Identify data issues with the platform and create high level remediation plans
- Work with Internal/External Reference Data partners on executing data clean-up efforts
- Support business partner Internal/External Reference Data reporting needs
- Facilitate meetings for the Internal/External Reference Data platform
- Establish relationships and support the communication across the business teams, technical partners, and upstream/downstream partners, including working with the Reference Operations Group & other partners regarding data clean-up efforts
- Overall experience of 8+ years
- 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience (default required qualification)
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- experience working with users to understand business requirements , use case and convert them to implementable requirements to the respective Agile teams
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment Ability to create complex SQL queries
- Strong Data Quality and Data Profiling 3+ year of SQL experience
- 3+ years of experience working with databases such as Oracle or SQL server
- Experience with Excel
- Other Desired Qualifications:
- Strong Knowledge of Reference Product understanding
- 3 + Years of experience in building automation modules using Python
- 3+ years of experience with Data Quality and Data Profiling leveraging any of the following tools: SQL Developer, Teradata, MS SQL, Oracle
- Strong Understanding of Wells Fargo's Customer Systems/Data environments (Wholesale, Consumer, Wealth Management)
- Ability to create complex SQL queries
- 3+ years of knowledge of Master Data Management
- Strong collaboration, partnering and consulting skills
