What We are Looking for:
We are looking for a Sr. Developer who enjoys solving challenging problems and works well in both individual and collaborative environments. In this role, you will be responsible for creating web applications using on-prem and cloud-based technology while establishing development processes and standards for a growing team. The Senior Engineer will oversee a team of developers and lead the effort to grow the team into a fully capable development team. You will have the opportunity to establish software development processes and set code review, testing and deployment standards. A typical day for a candidate will start with team meetings to review progress and set priorities for the day. As a Senior Developer, the Technical Lead will mentor the team on coding standards and be able to troubleshoot any technical issues the team may face. The Technical Lead will eliminate roadblocks for their team, while also contributing code as the most senior developer on the team

Required Technical and Professional Expertise: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 1-3 years of Experience in Python 
  • Strong knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming concepts. 
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Django or Flask. 
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. 
  • Familiarity with ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries. Experience with SQL Alchemy is a plus.

  • Knows how to work with a team.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.

What Work You Could Do as a React.js Developer: 
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code. 
  • Develop software solutions that meet client requirements. 
  • Collaborate with other developers to design, develop, and test software applications. 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers. 
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues. 
  • Develop and maintain software documentation. 
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development. 
  • Implement web applications in Python, SQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. 
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. 
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines. 
  • Monitor team performance and report on performance. 
  • Collaborate with other software developers, and business analysts to plan, design, and develop applications. 
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure Company deliverables meet the highest expectations of the client.
