Job Description:

Application of Optimisation Techniques in Aircraft Structures Development Job scope (core activities): 

● Perform extensive survey and exploration of existing and emerging optimisation methods, techniques and tools and its application in design and sizing of aircraft structural components. ● Conduct trade studies for different types of optimisation methods considering varying objective functions ( single/multi-objective) 

● Suggest necessary methods adaptation for the methods identified. 

● Explore application of multi-domain optimization in aircraft structures development. ● Report preparation 

Required Domain Expertise: 

- Sound knowledge of Linear algebra, Optimization methods, Design of Experiments. - Sound knowledge of Strength of materials. 

- Hands on experience with programming and exposure to FEM. 

- Very good analytical and reasoning skills 

- Ability to apply numerical methods /mathematical modeling to solve engineering problems. Tools: MATLAB, Python, iSight Abaqus, NASTRAN 

Qualification: - Graduate/Post graduate (Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering) Soft 

Skills: 

- Ability to work independently 

- Good communication and interpersonal skills 

- Flexibility & adaptability
