DetailedResponsibilities:Thisis a unique and a challenging role that s broadly classified intotwo subcategories: CreatingScientificServices
  • Identifyand apply research findings to improve the accuracy and efficiencyof wind resource assessment processes by integrating newtechnologies methodologies and datasources.

  • Supportingour development team in the development of high quality webapplications for wind farmdesign
  • DataEngineering using technology like Postgres BigQuery Pub/Sub andTerraform for architecting and building eventdriven systems anddata lakes for geospatial among other datatypes.
  • ScientificServices using mostly Python and (optional but not required) Rustfor developing and maintaining performance analysis tools fordesigning and optimising multiGW scale windfarms.

CandidateRequirements:
  • Apassion for wind resource and for the role renewable energy canplay in mitigating climate change
  • Abachelor s or master s degree in a scientific or engineeringdiscipline from a toplevel school. PhD holders are also encouragedto apply.
  • Around 35 years ofexperience in the field and in a similar role. Also capable ofindependent work and taking initiative in selfdirecting workprojects.
  • Experience in the wind industry wouldbe ideal but not arequirement.
  • Proficiency with Gitand Git Flow will be useful though notmandatory.
  • Basicproficiency with software development and knowledge of Python willbe an addedadvantage.
  • FluentEnglish including highquality writtenEnglish
  • Internationalexperience preferable
  • Independent worker and naturalinitiativetaker
