Team Supervision and Management- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
- Train new employees on housekeeping standards, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular briefings and communication meetings to update staff on operational changes.
- Perform daily inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
- Address guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Maintain accurate records of room status, inventory, and maintenance requests.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on housekeeping activities and team performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Engineering, to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Provide ongoing training to staff on safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and housekeeping management software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
