NA has aclient that is seeking a Program Manager IT Construction in LosAngeles CA.
Key Tasks:
- ProgramManager will be responsible for the overall scope budget scheduleand master plans for capital improvement projects new clinic buildsMOBs and relocation efforts
- Works closely withtechnical teams construction design and planning teams GCs andsubject matter experts to assess document program scope describingthe objectives physical and logical requirements and bridges thegap between technical teams and the business
- Develops Project Charter gathers the scope andgets sign off from Stakeholders
- Developsdetailed project organization charts and roles/responsibilitiesmatrices
- As a Program Manager you will createthe project budget does analysis on new projects manages projectbudgets including capital and operating expenses forecasts spend ona regular basis
- Manages the process ofequipment selection along with the SMEs contracts purchasing andinstallation
Required Skills : *Bachelor s degree in a related discipline/field from an accreditedcollege or university * PMP certification * Minimum 10 years ofexperience in leading enterprisewide projects within a PMO *Minimum 8 years of experience in the IT construction and/orinfrastructure domain in health care organizations/hospital orclinic builds leading multimillion dollars projects * Minimum 5years of experience in managing staff * Experienced in managingproject budgets OpEx and CapEx * Experienced in at least one PPMtool Service Now ITBM/Clarity/Planview etc. * Through understandingof physical IT Infrastructure (low voltage cabling networkinfrastructure telecom LAN/WAN connectivity IT integration ofmedical equipment interfaces end users devices planning anddeployment) * Thorough understanding of the interdependenciesbetween construction activities and different IT systems andsolutions * Indepth understanding of contract documents related toinfrastructure design and construction industry * AdvancedMicrosoft Office skills (Word Excel PowerPoint Access) MS ProjectSmartsheet * Ability to identify the different stakeholders of theinternal IT teams and engage them in timely manner during thedesign and implementation of construction projects (Hospital newMOBs and clinic builds) * Ability to facilitate discussions anddecision making with leadership teams and C Suite * Ability tounderstand discussions during OAC coordination meetings andidentify the impact of other trades on IT infrastructure * Abilityto coordinate with other trades during design and implementation ofthe IT infrastructure * Ability to manage multiple ITinfrastructure projects during construction * Ability to planorganize motivate mentor direct and evaluate the work of others *Excellent project management skills to manage complex projects *Excellent communication skills and executive presence * Advancedteam building and facilitation skills
