What you’ll do-

 

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated developer with a strong desire to enable SAP applications on SAP ASE Database. As a successful candidate for this role, you will have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding and systems design, solid communication skills, and a desire to solve complex problems of scale which are uniquely SAP.

 

You will work in a group of dedicated SAP platform technology and SAP ASE experts who adjust and optimize SAP’s technology with a lot of fun and enthusiasm. In this environment we look for creative solutions that exploit the capabilities of the SAP ASE database and the SAP Replication Server to deliver innovative solutions for our customers.

 

In this position you will strengthen the team’s development tasks. Your work will give you deep insight into SAP’s technology and the ASE database. Furthermore, you will gain highly appreciated experience in dealing with different teams within SAP and customers worldwide.

 

What you bring-

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a top-tier educational institute with 2 - 4 years’ work experience. 
  • SQL and relational database skills are essential
  • SAP ASE database knowledge is beneficial
  • Experience in Java programming and SAP UI5 front-end technology
  • Good at debugging/troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Personal commitment and the ability to work independently and goal-oriented in a global team
  • You enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Fluency in English

The role provides opportunities to work on a wide stack of SAP technologies and products, including Java, UI5, SAP monitoring solutions, SAP ASE database and several tools, scripts and modules in that environment.
