JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:  Analytical Scientist

Job Location:  Bengaluru

Ensuring safety of self, teams and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace. Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards at all times

Key Responsibilities:

Structural elucidation of small molecules (organics) using state-of-the-art NMR methodologies Collaborate closely with project teams in discovery chemistry. Expertise in Multinuclear NMR analysis. QNMR support and training for purity assay. Maintains superconducting magnets. This includes scheduling cryogen deliveries; weekly liquid nitrogen fills and liquid helium fills Proven hands-on experience in small-molecule NMR spectroscopy. Strong background in organic chemistry and structure elucidation. Expertise in NMR methods with proficiency in NMR data systems and pulse sequence language. Ability to collaborate with project teams in discovery chemistry and work in a fast-paced team environment. Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for the safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards always in the workplace Wearing all PPE as required. Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene data integrity policies. Compliance with Syngene s quality standards always Review of daily/monthly laboratory monitoring, verification, and calibration records of equipment and instruments.

Education:   M.Sc. (Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry)

Experience:  3-6 years

Technical/Functional Skills:

Basic knowledge in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy. Theoretical knowledge in various analytical techniques and skills in analytical data interpretation. Fair interpersonal skills. Strong written and communication skills. Undertake relevant safety and quality trainings. Understanding GLP and GMP requirements.

Behavioral Skills:

Able to work follow instructions and perform the tasks under the supervision of the project leader Fair interpersonal skills
