Job Description
Create and update the wine list in coordination with chefs and the Director of Food and Beverage. Recommend food and wine pairings. Advise guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices. Inform guests about different varieties of wines and prices. Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and within the proper glassware. Store open bottles properly to maintain strong taste. Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment on a daily basis in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of 5-star luxury hotel or a high-end restaurant experience  Having an extensive and strong knowledge of wines including the local ones, Ability to create tasteful food and wine pairings, Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Knowledgeable about Food & Beverage operations, Ability to use Micros POS, Having advanced communication skills, Ability to work in a fast paced environment
