We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Title: Test engineer

 

Experience Level:

  • Over 8+ years of experience into ETL / BI testing

 

Mandatory skills:

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information, such as test designs and defect reports, to agile development teams and stakeholders. 
  • In-depth knowledge of testing data warehouses, including verifying ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, validating data transformations, and confirming end-to-end data flow from source to reporting layers.
  • Testing of Power BI Reports: Skilled in manual testing of Power BI reports, ensuring accuracy of data visualizations, report functionality, and validation against source data and business requirements.
  • Experience with tools like Azure DevOps and managing the automated execution of tests as part of deployment processes.    
  • Desirable - understanding of CI/CD practices and tools for integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.
  • Experience developing and maintaining test strategies, with a focus on automation and regression testing. Ability to suggest and implement process improvements for test optimization and efficiency.
  • Thorough understanding of privacy and data protection standards, ensuring adherence to best practices in handling, storing, and anonymizing personal data within the BI solutions.
