As a Data Engineer/Data Analyst at Docyt, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing the company's vast amounts of financial data. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, optimizing data storage and retrieval, and conducting data analysis to generate actionable insights for the business. Docyt, pronounced “docket”, is a super app that empowers businesses to take control of their financial data. We apply AI (artificial intelligence) across the entire accounting tech stack, automating workflows, reconciling financial data, and generating real-time financial statements. Our mission is to provide businesses with complete, accurate, and real-time financial information to make informed decisions and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of financial data
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure efficient and scalable data operations
  • Perform data analysis and develop models to generate actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data solutions
  • Design and implement data quality frameworks and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering or data analysis
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Java
  • Experience with data pipeline tools and frameworks, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, or AWS Glue
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
