JobDescription:TheAssistant Professor in the Department of Micro Biology will play acritical role in fulfilling the colleges mission. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate andgraduate level botany courses conducting research in the field ofbotany and contributing to the departments and the collegescommitment to innovation and excellence ineducation.
Responsibilities:
  • Teachundergraduate and graduate level botanycourses
  • Conduct research in the field ofbotany
  • Mentor students and encourage theirparticipation in research and academicpursuits
  • Engage in scholarly and professionalactivities to remain current in thefield
  • Collaborate with other faculty membersand departments to promote interdisciplinary programs andinitiatives
  • Contribute to departmental andcollegewide committees and initiatives
  • Publishresearch findings in academic journals and present atconferences

Qualifications:
  • MinimumM.Sc. degree in Micro Biology or a relatedfield
  • Strong researchand teaching experience in the field of MicroBiology
  • Demonstratedability to publish research in academicjournals
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonalskills
