Overview:
Electronics engineering own various Interiors Lighting, Seating and Oxygen LRU design & development related activities, provide technical support, and proactively manage tasks to meet schedule goals. Also, actively participate in a team environment, working with cross functional design teams to develop new product and design modification in the existing products.
Position: Manager, Engineering
Primary Responsibilities:
Expertise in complete product development to own the electrical design details of various aircraft interiors lighting, seating, passenger oxygen system, lavatory oxygen system. Develops electronics controller to control light intensity, Oxygen flow and Seat actuator by understanding customer requirements and the aircraft standards. Develops embedded platform and understands firmware needed for flow control applications using various MEMS sensors. Component selection for Oxygen flow control, Valves control, Power supply, EMI filter, sensors selection and control loop design Understand Model based system design, calculations and simulations of control algorithm. Create detailed electrical schematics & develop detailed design description document. Perform functional and Design verification testing. Ensures design for manufacturing, cost, quality, reliability, certification. Performing detailed comparison of obsolete components and the new components selection and analyzing the circuitry impact. Assesses electrical design to avoid conflicts in design process, including detailed Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other methods of determining and addressing technical risks. Understanding the PCB design process & the Assembly standards IPC-2222, IPC-2221 and IPC- A -610, IPC-J-STD-001 Ensures compliance with RTCA D0-160 regulatory specifications and customer requirements. Detailed Understanding on the DO-160 and DO -254 standards and the requirements. Excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.Basic Qualifications:
14-15 years of relevant Industry experience in Motor control/Analog design/Digital design Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical and Electronics/Power ElectronicsPrimary Skills:
10+yrs in Control system, Analog, Digital Circuit design.
Experience in compliance with EMI/EMC design
Experience in debugging product test failures.
Experience programming and implementing embedded systems serial protocols (UART/USB/SPI/I2C and CAN protocol)
Experience in Aerospace Products and DO-160 requirements
Techniques and skills required to identify a root cause analysis of problems.
Experience on RRCA process
Experience on DO-254 Process.
Fundamental knowledge in LabVIEW desirable
