Roles &Responsibilities:

  • DesignCircuits and PCBs conforming to industry standards andcertifications
  • Work withJunior/Associate Engineers. Guide and assit team in end to end PCBDevelopment Circuit Design Component Selection Footprint generationPCB design Gerber/Production File Generationetc
  • Understand project requirementscome up with possible design solutions select ideal components fromleading manufacturers implement ideal circuit and generatePCB
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams including electrical engineers and firmwaredevelopers
  • Perform design updatesaccording to change in customer or internalrequirements.
  • Understand PCB Designworkflow Circuit Design Component Selection PCB Layout and GerberGeneration
  • Expertise in designing /developing Embedded system based on microcontroller/microprocessorof 16bit/ 32bit with associated subsystems such as power supplyOpamps circuits Clocks Filter Design Electromechanical driverCircuits Sensors I/O interfaces and communicationmodules
  • Develop ComponentFootprints. Develop and maintain inhouse Probots componentlibraries.
  • Work on projectsinvolving battery power wireless antennas high density componentsetc
  • Comfortable working with HighComponent Density PCBs High Speed Signals High Voltage Signals andMultilayer PCBs (6 12 layer)
  • Awareof standard DFM Principles
  • Work onmodern technologies (Wifi BLE IoT etc) on latest controllers ARMArduino Raspberry Pi ESP8266 ESP32 NodeMCUetc
  • Participation in circuit/pcbreview technical reviews and ensure the quality ofdeliverables
  • Continuous learningStay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and bestpractices in embeddeddevelopment.
  • Mentor and guide juniorengineers fostering a collaborative and innovative workenvironment.


Requirements

Experience&Skill:

  • 26 yearsexperience in end to end Embedded Hardware Design Circuit toPCB
  • Proven track record ofdelivering highquality electronics designs from concept toproduction.
  • Experience ininvolvement into (DLC) Product development lifecycle from initialrequirements to final productrelease.
  • Excellent ElectronicsFundamentals Digital Circuits Analog Circuits Working of Active andPassive Components etc
  • Experiencein SOM based Carrier boarddesigns.
  • IPC process certified inPCB Designing will be anadvantage.
  • Familiarity with leadingPCB Design Softwares
  • Excellentdebugging skills with experience in working with multimeters logicanalyzers andoscilloscopes.
  • Component FilteringSelection from leading manufacturerwebsites
  • Ability to interpret commonComponent Datasheet tables anddata.
  • Thourough understanding ofhardware blocks Clocks PLLs GPIO Interrupt Controllers (GIC) PowerManagement Peripherals (SPI/I2C/UART/CAN/Ethernet/PCIeetc)
  • Linux Concepts:Basics
  • Programming Concepts: Basicsof C / Python
  • Able to workindependently and also a Good Team player. Professional attitudeWork Ethics. Selfmotivated good verbal and writtencommunication.

Experience & Skill: C Programming, Embedded Systems, EmbeddedLinux 2-7 years experience in C preferably on ARM, Linux Drivers.SoC & Bare Processors Excellent debugging skills withexperience in debugging with Valgrind, JTAG & GDB. Solidcommand of the most common data structures and algorithmsProficient with Git/GitHub or other versioning tools Able toanalyse and translate complex functional requirements into codeExperience in Software Build, Integration onto Target Board(cross-compilers). Strong experience in Object Oriented Design.
