Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Understand the requirements and create a solid technical design for development.

• Must define & involve in R&D process for clearing the spikes when creating the technical design.

• Must ensuring all developers are adhering to technical design.

• Must ensuring all developers are following the code quality standards and unit test coverage is up to the mark.

• Must ensure functional stories are broken down to technical stories.

• Must follow the Scrum based product development cycle and meet the delivery timelines accordingly.

• Must follow the code review process and complete it as expected.

• Must ensure the technical debts are avoided at all costs.

• Manage new feature releases while keeping the quality bar high in term of engineering practices

• Lead a diverse team of High performing Engineers and extend Fosfor to deliver value to our customers.

• Analyse technology, resource needs to plan and assess the feasibility/delivery dates of projects

• Drive, review and finalize technical product design and changes

• Estimate, Plan, Track and handle multiple competing priorities

• Understand current set of Lumin's microservices and work on extending the same and build new set of microservices

• Optimize solution for performance and scalability

• Hire, Mentor and grow Engineering team

• Coordinate with the Product, Design, Frontend, Analytics, NLP and DevOps teams for timely execution

• Interface with the Design, Frontend and DevOps teams

Skills Required:

• 8+ year of experience with at least 3 years of experience in management or lead roles

• Experience building complex technical solutions - highly scalable microservices architecture, distributed cloud-based systems

• Experience in building scalable web applications using Python and Python based frameworks. Strong knowledge in multi-threading concepts of Python.

• Experience in end-to-end development cycle for product features ranging from hotfixes to major platform releases.

• Strong experience in building microservices using technologies like FAST API, Flask etc.

• Deep understanding on microservices design patterns, service registry and discovery, externalization of configurations

• Strong experience in creation, management and consumption of REST APIs leveraging Swagger, Postman, API Gateways (such as MuleSoft, APIGEE) etc.

• Strong knowledge in data modelling, querying, performance tuning of any big-data stores (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis et;) and /or any RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc;)

• Experience working with Agile / Scrum based teams that utilizes Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery processes using Git, Maven, Jenkins etc;

• Experience in Containers (Docker/Kubernetes) based deployment and management

• Experience in using AWS/GCP/Azure based cloud infrastructure

• Test Driven Development and test automation skills with Pytest.

• Experience in working on NLP and analytics workflows is a plus.

• Knowledge in security frameworks, concepts and technologies like OAuth2, SAML, SSO, Identity and Access Management.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal).
