Role Overview:
Weare seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer withexpertise in SQL and MongoDB to join our dynamic team. As a keymember of our development team you will be responsible for managingthe interchange of data between the server and users as well asdeveloping serverside logic. Your primary focus will be on thedevelopment of all serverside logic ensuring high performance andresponsiveness to requests from the frontend. Additionally yourexperience with both SQL and NoSQL databases will be crucial indefining and maintaining our data storage solutions.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • ServerSideDevelopment:
    Develop and maintainserverside applications usingNode.js.
  • APIDesign:
    Design and implement RESTful APIsfor seamless integration with frontendapplications.
  • Collaboration:
    Workclosely with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elementswith serversidelogic.
  • Optimization:
    Optimizeapplications for maximum speed andscalability.
  • Security:
    Implementsecurity and data protectionmeasures.
  • DatabaseManagement:
    Design and maintain databaseschemas for both SQL (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g.MongoDB)databases.
  • Mentorship:
    Manageand mentor junior developers providing technical guidance andsupport.
  • ContinuousLearning:
    Stay updated with emergingtechnologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • EducationalBackground:
    Bachelors degree in ComputerScience Engineering or a related field or equivalent workexperience.
  • Experience:
    Minimum4 years of experience in Node.jsdevelopment.
  • TechnicalSkills:

    • Proficiencyin JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such asExpress.js.
    • Strong understanding ofasynchronous programming and eventdrivenarchitecture.
    • Experience with SQL databases(e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing complex SQLqueries.
    • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g.MongoDB) and familiarity with their querylanguages.
    • Familiarity with ORM libraries (e.g.Sequelize Mongoose) for databaseinteraction.
    • Knowledge of version controlsystems (e.g. Git).
    • Understanding of CI/CDpipelines and deploymentprocesses.
  • SoftSkills:

    • Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability tolead and mentor a team ofdevelopers.
