Overview:The PHP& Application Developer plays a critical role in ourorganization responsible for developing and maintaining webapplications to meet our business needs. This position requires asolid understanding of PHP development application architecture anddatabase management.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop andmaintain web applications using PHP JavaScript and other relevanttechnologies.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to define design and ship newfeatures.
  • Participate in all phases of thesoftware development lifecycle including requirements gatheringdesign coding testing and deployment.
  • Performthorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure seamlessfunctionality.
  • Optimize application performanceand ensure scalability.
  • Integrate data storagesolutions and create database schemas that represent and supportbusiness processes.
  • Keep abreast of industrytrends and advancements in web development to apply bestpractices.
  • Provide technical support andtroubleshooting for web applications.
  • Createand maintain technicaldocumentation.
  • Collaborate with frontenddevelopers to integrate userfacing elements with serversidelogic.
  • Participate in code reviews and provideconstructive feedback to peers.
  • Contribute tocontinuous improvement initiatives within the developmentteam.
  • Stay updated on security vulnerabilitiesand ensure our applications aresecure.
  • Contribute to the overall architectureof our platforms.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Proven work experience as a PHPdeveloper or Application developer.
  • Strongknowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel CodeIgniteretc.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologiesincluding JavaScript HTML and CSS.
  • Experiencewith database management usingSQL.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs JSON andXML.
  • Ability to troubleshoot test and maintainthe core product software and databases to ensure strongoptimization and functionality.
  • Experience withversion control systems such as Git.
  • Solidunderstanding of security best practices in webdevelopment.
  • Excellent problemsolving skillsand a detailoriented mindset.
  • Ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
  • Strongcommunication and collaborationabilities.
  • Experience with agilemethodologies.
