Overview:As anUltrasound Technician at our facility in Location you will play acrucial role in providing highquality diagnostic imaging servicesto our patients. You will be responsible for operating ultrasoundequipment to produce and record images used by physicians todiagnose or monitor various medicalconditions.KeyResponsibilities:

• Prepare patientsfor ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and positioningthem appropriately
• Operate ultrasound equipmentto capture images of internal organs tissues or bloodflow
• Ensure images meet quality standards foraccurate diagnostic interpretation
• Collaboratewith healthcare professionals to review and interpret ultrasoundimages
• Maintain patient records and updateinformation as necessary
• Adhere to safetyprotocols and maintain a clean and organized workenvironment
• Provide patient education andsupport throughout the imagingprocess
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasoundequipment to ensure proper functionality
• Assistin scheduling and coordinating patientappointments
• Stay current with new techniquesand equipment in ultrasoundtechnology

RequiredQualifications:

• Associates degree inultrasound technology or related field
• ARDMScertification in sonography
• State licensure orcertification as required
• Minimum of 2 years ofexperience as an UltrasoundTechnician
• Proficiency in performing abdominalpelvic obstetrical and vascular ultrasoundprocedures
• Strong knowledge of anatomy andphysiology
• Ability to operate and troubleshootultrasound equipment
• Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills
• Attention to detailand accuracy in image capture anddocumentation
• Commitment to patient care andcomfort
• Ability to work effectively as part ofa multidisciplinary healthcareteam
• Understanding of medical ethics andpatient confidentiality
