Job Summary:

Fortran Steel Pvt Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights that will support our company's decision-making process. You will work with a wide range of data sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving our operations and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection: Collect, organize, and maintain data from various sources within the company, including databases, spreadsheets, and external data providers.
  2. Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies. Use statistical methods and data visualization tools to present findings.
  3. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain predictive models and algorithms to support decision-making processes.
  4. Report Generation: Create clear and concise reports that communicate data-driven insights to different stakeholders within the organization.
  5. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and reliability through data cleaning and validation processes.
  6. Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources to provide a holistic view of the company's performance.
  7. Data Visualization: Create data visualizations and dashboards to make complex data accessible and understandable to non-technical team members.
  8. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and trends to continually improve the company's analytical capabilities.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
  2. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel, Python, R, and SQL.
  4. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Effective communication and presentation skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Familiarity with the steel manufacturing industry is a plus.
