RequirementsQualification : Diploma/BE (Civil Engineering) with steel structure expertise.
Experience : 1 to 5 years
  • Proficiency in Tekla Structures software.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Experience in creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for steel structures.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to steel detailing.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and architects.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling software is a plus.

We are seeking a talented Computational Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both architectural design and computational methodologies, and will be pivotal in optimizing design processes, enhancing creativity, and driving innovation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design Development: Collaborate with architects and designers to develop innovative design concepts using computational tools and algorithms. 2. Modeling and Analysis: Utilize tools such as Grasshopper, Rhino, and Dynamo to automate tasks, generate complex geometries, and conduct performance and sustainability analysis. 3. Scripting and Custom Tool Development: Develop custom scripts and tools tailored to specific project needs or to enhance and streamline design and construction processes. 4. Prototyping: Experiment with and refine design iterations, using computational design to inform and test prototypes. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, MEP consultants, and construction teams, ensuring computational designs are feasible and constructible. 6. Research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in computational design, architectural trends, and construction methodologies. Introduce and train the team on new tools and techniques. 7. Documentation: Generate detailed design documentation that effectively communicates computational strategies and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
