Geoscientist: Reservoir Modeling

What you will do
In consultation with ExxonMobil’s Reservoir Modelling group in Houston, define project objectives, work scopes and deliverables. Contribute to existing model updates, developing/maintaining workflows, volumetric and calibration to dynamic data. Support business units that require models to screen opportunities, run scenarios and quantify uncertainty. Support business units to manage country-specific regulatory requirements that have a significant modelling component. Work with computational scientists, engineers, and geoscientists to test, deliver and support various modelling software tools, models and algorithms.
About You
Skills and Qualifications
Master’s degree in Earth Science, Physical Science, Applied Mathematics or Engineering with a minimum GPA score of & above. Minimum 3 years of hands on industrial experience in integrated reservoir modelling in support of upstream oil and gas operations. Strong background in one or more geoscience skills (production/development geology, geophysics, stratigraphy). Proficiency with English and strong communication skills.Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Strong computational and analytical skills. Expert level Petrel user, experience with Petrel workflows and plugins. Knowledge of reservoir simulation/Eclipse or other modelling software would be an added advantage.
