Job Summary  

This would be a Senior Front End Engineer role. Employee at this level is expected to be comfortable working independently on complex front end development assignments using React/Angular. The candidate should have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and should be able to solve day to day problems without any external support. The primary responsibility of the employee is to lead the effort on front end development for new UI widgets as well sustaining and supporting the existing code base. Also employee would be expected to support the processes for production deployments and contribute in terms of ideas and innovations to help improve the overall platform stability and reliability. Employee at times is also expected to train/mentor problem solve and go to person for any technical issues within the team.

Responsibilities and Duties  

Perform medium and high complexity tasks related to front end development using React/Angular Creation of new UX widgets/components Support existing product lines Works on Mobile as well as Desktop development Interface with backend teams for service contract definitions and ensure best design practices are followed Good domain knowledge - Vibration, IIOT, Good communication skills Expert knowledge of software programming Data structures and algorithms Data visualisation (charts SVG/Canvas) Javascript core HTML CSS Typescript Code Testing Micro front architecture State management Web Services Web Security

Understand the existing processes around project management in Jira or otherwise and stay compliant Contribute in process improvements to help achieve higher efficiency, productivity, reliability and so on.

Qualifications and Skills  

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering/Science Good knowledge of software programming Detailed in depth understanding of popular web development frameworks such as React/Angular Basic understanding of Micro services architecture Understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies
