Overview:The DevOpsengineer plays a crucial role in our organization responsible forimplementing maintaining and optimizing cloudbased infrastructureand deployment pipelines. They are integral in driving efficientand scalable software development processes that align with bestpractices.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Collaborate withsoftware developers system operators and other IT staff members tomanage code releases.
  • Design implement andmaintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple cloud environments includingGCP Azure and AWS.
  • Automate deployment scalingand management of containerizedapplications.
  • Monitor and optimize cloudinfrastructure and applicationperformance.
  • Enhance and maintain securityposture through automation and bestpractices.
  • Provide technical support andtroubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure anddeployments.
  • Collaborate with teams toimplement and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC)practices.
  • Contribute to the design andimplementation of disaster recovery and backupstrategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends andbest practices to continuously enhance cloud deploymentprocesses.
  • Participate in performance andsecurity testing including load testing and vulnerabilityscanning.
  • Create and maintain comprehensivedocumentation for infrastructure and deploymentprocesses.
  • Participate in oncall rotation andprovide support during offhours asrequired.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree incomputer science engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Professional certification in cloudtechnologies such as GCP Azure or AWS.
  • Provenexperience working in a DevOps or similar role with a focus oncloudbased infrastructure.
  • Expertise inimplementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like JenkinsGitLab CI or CircleCI.
  • Proficiency incontainerization and orchestration tools such as Docker andKubernetes.
  • Strong scripting and coding skillsusing languages like Python Bash orPowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of cloudnetworking security and compliance bestpractices.
  • Experience with infrastructure ascode (IaC) tools like Terraform orCloudFormation.
  • Ability to collaborateeffectively with crossfunctional teams and communicate technicalconcepts clearly.
  • Experience with monitoringand logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack orsimilar.
  • Knowledge of version control systemsparticularly Git.
  • Understanding of agilemethodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Excellentproblemsolving and troubleshooting skills in cloudenvironments.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaceddynamic environment and manage multiple prioritieseffectively.
  • Strong attention to detail andcommitment to delivering highqualitysolutions.
