About the role:

Teaching:
  1. Plan and teach wellstructured lessons to assignedclasses following the schools plans curriculum and scheme ofwork
  2. Assess monitor record and report on the learning needsprogress and achievement of assigned students making accurate andproductive use of assessments
  3. Adapt teaching to respond to the strengthand needs of students
  4. Set high expectations which inspire motivateand challenge students.
  5. Promote good progress and outcome bystudents
  6. Demonstrate good subject and curriculumknowledge
  7. Participate in arrangements for preparing students forexternal and internal tests
OrganizationStrategy and Development
  1. Contribute to the developmentimplementation and evaluation of the schools policies practices andprocedures to support the schools values and vision
  2. Make a positivecontribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
  3. Work with otherteaching staff on curriculum and students development to securecoordinated outcomes
  4. Play the role of substitute teachers in an unforeseencircumstances that another teacher is unable to teach.
