Procurement Engineer

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

Procurement Engineer (Construction industry experience is must)

1. Sending enquiries and obtaining Quotations as and when required

1. Compiles order requests from various sources, ensures compliance with specifications and determines type and quantity of items to order

1. Negotiate purchase agreements, rates and payment terms with approved vendors and place orders

1. Follow up for the material delivery with the vendors

1. Material Optimization of sites with respect to planning

1. Co-ordinates with Project Manager/Engineer at site for all the projects for clarifying the discrepancy in the Quantity /Order

1. Approval is done online by the Project team with respect to their request, after thorough checking

1. Monitors computerized records and reviews records of transactions, stock levels, inventories, and related records

1. Submit Monthly requirement of payments required for supplier payment & weekly report to management on the outstanding payments and orders

1. Provide clear visibility to management on the stock availability, forecasts, budgets and delivery schedules

1. Submit reports on project procurements and cost incurred on completion of every project

1. Scrutiny & Approvals to be done for the payments in co ordination with the HOD

1. Produces all required reports required for the Audit team as a part of Audit procedures.

1. Implement new or improved supply chain processes

1. Build and maintain good relationship with vendors

1. Participate in Pre-tender talks
