Advanced Virtual Validation Engineer

JobDescription:Responsibilities:Perform support the execution of virtualization related tasks forexample: Gather required artifacts tocreate the virtual ECUs Define Systemarchitecture and perform ECUs configuration SWimplementation Add Data access ports and RTEintervention points Build VECU and resolveerrors/warnings and compile to generate VirtualECUs Add Network database (dbc) and connectVECUs using BUS manager Create Virtual ECUplatform in VEOS environment and executeVEOS Load OSA files in VEOs and create thecontrol desk project Develop Test layout andbind to interfaces Perform panel testing andvalidate the interfaces ( I/O RTE) Designtest cases scripts and run them on SYNECT or AutomationDesk Execute test cases and analyzefailures. Record and reportfailures Version control of artifacts (testframework Testcases etc.) Monitor thevirtualization process to ensure needed SWCs are integrated andadherence to planned delivery schedule. Support all internal and external audits/assessment in the projectregarding preparation and follow up on findings related to industrystandards for safety and quality Coaching ofthe project management/team regarding internal processes and SAFeagile Learn the virtualization process andworkflow and strive to maintain thoseguidelines Continuous review and improvementof processes procedures and templatesPerform internal audits and evaluations help assure quality of workproducts and process activities Supportproduct development as member of cross functionalteam Participate in validation issuediscussion with other teams Create andmaintain bidirectional traceability of artifacts like testcases andrequirementsMinimumQualification:
  • Haveknown the knowledge of classic and adaptiveAUTOSAR
  • Demonstrated ability to develop AUTOSARbased systems
  • Demonstrated competency in dSPACEtools like System desk Control desk VEOS Automation desk andSYNECT
  • Demonstrated competency in creatingvirtual ECU s
  • Demonstrated competency inconnecting virtual ECU s using BUSmanager
  • Trained in both VEOS and Control Desktest layout creation.
  • Working experience inContinuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)environment
  • Experience with statisticalanalysis of data to establish pass/failcriteria
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonalskills
PreferredQualifications:
  • Masters degree in Applied Physics Mechanical Electrical Aerospace orComputer Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • A minimum of 3 years within the area ofVirtual or Hardware validation using dSPACE tools like System deskControl desk VEOS Automation desk andSYNECT
  • Understanding of virtual validationprocess
