JobSummary:

We are seeking adetailoriented and experienced Assistant Accountant to join ourteam in Trichy. The ideal candidate will have a strong backgroundin accounting practices particularly in IT filing GST filing andTDS filing. The Assistant Accountant will support the financialteam by maintaining accurate financial records preparing reportsand ensuring compliance with regulatoryrequirements.

MainResponsibilities:
  • Manageand ensure timely filing of Income Tax returns and relateddocuments.
  • Prepare and file GSTreturns ensuring compliance with allregulations.
  • Handle TDS calculationsdeductions and timely filing ofreturns.
  • Assist in processinginvoices payments and reconcilingaccounts.
  • Perform regular bankreconciliations and resolvediscrepancies.
  • Prepare financialstatements and reports as required by themanagement.
  • Ensure adherence toaccounting standards and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Maintain accurate anduptodate financial records anddocumentation.
  • Assist in thepreparation and coordination of internal and externalaudits.
  • Support the maintenance ofthe general ledger and ensure accuracy in accountcoding.


RequirementsEssentialQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a relatedfield.
  • 35 years of experience inaccounting with specific experience in IT filing GST filing and TDSfiling.
  • Proficiency in accountingsoftware (e.g. Tally QuickBooks) and MS Office particularlyExcel.
SkillsRequired:
  • Stronganalytical skills with attention todetail.
  • Ability to manage multipletasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellentverbal and written communicationskills.
  • Ability to identify andresolve accountingdiscrepancies.
  • Strong organizationalskills to manage documentation andrecords.


Key Responsibilities: Compliance: Adhere to all company, local,state, and federal accounting and financial regulations. TaxHandling: Manage GST filings (GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B), TDS filings,and Income Tax filings (ITR 1 to ITR 7). Financial Reporting:Compile, analyze, and report financial data. Create periodicreports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements.Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financialrecords. Audit Operations: Perform audits, identify and resolvediscrepancies. Tax Calculations: Compute taxes owed, ensure timelypayment. Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about currentlegislation relating to finance and accounting.
