Responsibilities:
  1. TestAutomation Development: Design develop and maintainautomated test scripts using Playwright to validate thefunctionality of web applications.
  2. Test Planning: Collaborate with QAanalysts and developers to understand requirements and developcomprehensive test plans and strategies.
  3. Execution and Reporting: Executeautomated test scripts analyze test results and report defectsusing appropriate tools and methodologies.
  4. Continuous Integration: Integrateautomated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing anddeployment.
  5. Test FrameworkMaintenance: Maintain and enhance the test automationframework to improve efficiency reliability andscalability.
  6. Code Reviews:Participate in code reviews to ensure test scripts are wellwrittenefficient and follow coding best practices.
  7. Documentation: Create and maintaintechnical documentation related to test automation processesframeworks and scripts.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely withdevelopers QA analysts and other stakeholders to identify testingrequirements and ensure timely delivery of highqualitysoftware.
Qualifications:
  1. Technical Skills: Strongproficiency in Playwright for test automation along with experiencein other automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium Cypress orPuppeteer.
  2. ProgrammingLanguages: Proficiency in programming languages such asJavaScript/TypeScript Python or Java for writing automated testscripts.
  3. Web Technologies:Indepth knowledge of web technologies including HTML CSS JavaScriptand web services (RESTful APIs).
  4. Testing Concepts: Solid understandingof software testing concepts methodologies and bestpractices.
  5. CI/CD Tools:Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or AzureDevOps for automated test execution and integration.
  6. Version Control: Proficiency inversion control systems such as Git for managing test scripts andcodebase.
  7. AnalyticalSkills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills toidentify defects troubleshoot issues and propose effectivesolutions.
  8. Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboratingwith team members and documenting test processes.
