Responsibilities
  • Create detailed and accurate architectural and mechanical drawings using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design concepts and specifications.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety and building regulations.
  • Revise designs based on feedback and during the iterative development process.
  • Prepare bills of materials and cost estimates as required for projects.
  • Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation.
  • Assist in conducting site visits to gather information for project planning.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a draftsman, preferably in the electronics or engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy in technical drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
