Director, Sales & Marketing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director, Sales & Marketing for Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance Limited India (“RRPF”).

RRPF is a premier jet engine leasing company with a large portfolio of jet engines comprising of Rolls-Royce and engines manufactured by other leading engine manufactures. Our vision is to be the best partner in our customers growth. We provide medium and long - term spare engine leasing and bespoke financial solutions to airlines, aircraft lessors and OEMs and support over 75 customers worldwide with a portfolio of over 500 jet engines.

This role sits within the Sales and Marketing team; a fast-paced team responsible for spare engine leasing, sale and lease backs and sales revenue.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience and a passion for the aviation industry, exposure to engine or aircraft sales finance or leasing, an eye for detail, be capable of working with a diverse mix of external customers and internal partners.

What you will be doing:

This is a leasing and sales role and successful applicants should be self-driven and determined to succeed; the role sits in the sales organization and will support RRPF’s growth in the Indian market. Key role responsibilities include:

Drive growth in the Indian market through the acquisition through sale and lease backs and leasing of engines to local airlines.

Work with internal teams including technical, legal, finance whilst supporting the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to meet annual regional sales targets.

Perform economic analysis and model lease returns for new and repeat business to achieve optimal economic returns.

Managing day-to-day customer relationships

Termsheet drafting/negotiation and lease contract negotiation is an important component of this role. Successful applicants will work with legal team in negotiating lease documents for new and existing business with customers.

Proven experience in aircraft/engine leasing

Proven experience managing and building customer relationships, specifically in the Indian airline sector

A good understanding of the commercial aviation and engine and aircraft types is required.

Excel modelling experience is highly desirable. Data Analysis from multiple sources is an important part of the role’s day to day to work as it will identify new business opportunities across different geographical regions for RRPF.

Be comfortable with meeting and presenting across different levels of decision makers (C suite, senior management, etc).

Attention to detail, be self-driven, with good analytical skills and be strong team players able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate must be able to speak both English and Hindi.
