Sr Software Engineer

Bengaluru, India Oracle Full time

Analyze, design develop, solve and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve sophisticated bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Connect with QA and porting engineering as vital to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products. 

Career Level -

Duties and tasks are multifaceted and sophisticated needing independent judgment. Fully proficient in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 6+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Additional Details:

Proven knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle DB, ADW experience preferred
ETL concepts and experience
Significant experience with data modeling
Significant experience with Oracle DB performance tuning, analyzing query execution performance
Java experience prefered
Bash scripting experience, additional scripting languages are a bonus
Version control systems: svn, git
OS: Linux, Windows
Cloud Native Development experience preferred: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Experience with Agile Development Methodologies/Scrum
