MongoDB continues to grow incredibly fast. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Specialist to play a key role within MongoDB. This is the perfect opportunity to roll up your sleeves and have a positive impact at a hyper-growth company. In this high-impact role, you will work closely with internal functions, including Finance and Accounting, HR, and our Global Payroll teams, to improve and establish processes and systems for our next growth stage. This will be a very hands-on role, reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, and will help support the build-out and ongoing administration of our global payroll team.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram Office for our hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

This position requires a driven individual with refined communications skills and exceptional business acumen. He or she must be able to work independently and drive to follow up and follow through with increasing volume.

Assist with preparing the monthly payroll for our International (APAC/EMEA) operationsReview and ensure the accuracy of approved timesheetsProcess employee changes, tax changes, commissions, referral rewards, and bonus paymentsAssist with onboarding data entry in all HR systems (ADP, SuccessFactors, etc)Maintain employee records in all HR Systems; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; ensure accuracy of payroll data in our HRISRun regular audits to ensure the accuracy of payroll data in our HRISPrepare timely and accurate annual reporting to meet various local requirementsProvide effective partnerships and serve as a point of contact for internal and external queriesManage payroll vendors and payroll interfaces to benefits providersAssist the Payroll team with mass employee changes and data clean-upAssist Finance with reconciling payroll-related items and general ledger accountsAll other duties and responsibilities, as assigned 

Skills and Qualifications

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Google Applications4-6 years of APAC/EMEA payroll experienceFast and accurate data entry skills are essentialStrong teamwork and communication skills to support cross-functional and global operationsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issuesAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentExperience with ADP Streamline/ ADP Celergo and SuccessFactors is preferableUnderstand payroll and HR legislation and processes ie. interpretation of legislation and taxes
