KeyResponsibilities:


  • Writing 90 to 100 articles per month(news trends etc.) (usually 4 to 5 articles perday)

  • Reviewing content for factualaccuracy and general accuracy of grammar and context; ensuring thatcontent is written as per Sportskeeda s guidelines &checking spelling grammar & scope of the text with theeditorial team

  • Supporting the content team from astrategy perspective sharing new ideas content styles topicsetc.

  • Working with the Content Manager andAssistant Content Manager(s) to improve content writing processesincrease the quality of content on the siteetc.

  • Track topics around the NBA andpitch story ideas and assist the vertical lead with contentstrategy/plan forevents.

  • Stay updated with the latest newsand developments around the NBA and CollegeBasketball.



Requirements

  • Only candidates with aminimum of 1 year of experience covering/writing about basketballin the US (NBA NCAA etc.) shouldapply.

  • Staying updated with recentdevelopments in and around theNBA

  • Excellent command of the Englishlanguage (US) is amust.

  • Should have a knack for crispsentence composition grammar andsyntax.

  • Excellent time management skills andability to workindependently

  • Uptodate knowledge of recentdevelopments in the NBA and College Basketball teams players andmajor events is aplus.

  • Understanding of social media andSocial Media Trends is a Plus
