Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Enterprise Risk Officer
In this role, you will:
- Senior Officer will be responsible for driving ERIA team's SOR development and have ownership of INSIGHT tool.
- Develop test scripts, Process flows, mange accesses, coordinate UAT - serve as key point of contact and work with Insight team and stakeholders to take UAT from start to finish.
- Support the execution of strategic enhancements in support of ERIA Program evolution including but not limited to migration to continuous assessment methodology, increased granularity within the Enterprise Risk Inventory, implementation of new risk materiality scale, and implementation of the risk and control taxonomy.
- Support the execution of the Enterprise Risk ID quarterly process including supporting the development and maintenance of the enterprise risk inventory, support front line and IRM functions in the completion of risk assessments, and support various reporting and data analytics functions.

- Participate and develop, implement, and monitor risk-based governance programs to identify, assess and mitigate risks across lines of business and risk domains in multiple risk categories for Enterprise Risk
- Review moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Provide oversight, develop, implement, monitor, and challenge for corporate governance risk programs and manage reporting.
- Utilize risk knowledge to issue resolutions for moderate to high-risk companywide projects and initiatives.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and interpret, risk-based governance programs, create new policies and guidelines.
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet risk area, projects, and process deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the risk policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Guide and direct the organization in terms of policies, effectiveness of companywide initiative execution, and reporting to the Board.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Lead and direct a team with limited supervisory focus.
- Partner with managers to coordinate risk reporting to executive management, committees, and Board of Directors
- 7+ years of Risk Management experience (Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management) or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability.
- Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Proven experience with Enterprise Risk Identification process
- Experience building and implementing risk program.
- 10+ years of Risk Management experience (Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management) or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
