Job Overview


We are seeking highly motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Professors Of Psychology to join our team at Cheran Group of Institutions in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. As an Assistant Professor Of Psychology, you will be responsible for teaching psychology courses, conducting research, and mentoring students. This is a full-time/part-time/contract position with an opportunity for growth and professional development.


Qualifications and Skills


  • PG in Psychology followed by PhD in Psychology; NET SLET
  • 3 to 10 years of teaching or research experience in psychology
  • Strong knowledge of various areas of clinical psychology
  • Excellent academic writing skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software
  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive lectures
  • Demonstrated commitment to research and scholarly activities
  • Public speaking skills for presentations and seminars


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Deliver high-quality instruction in psychology courses
  • Develop and design course materials, syllabi, and assessments
  • Conduct research in the field of psychology
  • Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and research in psychology
  • Participate in departmental meetings and faculty development programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues on research projects
  • Contribute to the academic community through publications and presentations
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their research projects
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
