Responsibilities:

SystemProgramming:

Developand implement control system programs for audiovisual systemsincluding but not limited to Crestron AMX andExtron.

Customizeand modify existing code to meet specific projectrequirements.


Integration:

Integratevarious AV components including displays audio devices videoconferencing systems and controlinterfaces.

Collaboratewith design engineers to ensure seamless integration of AVsystems.


TestingandDebugging:

Conductthorough testing of programmed systems to identify and resolve anyissues.

Debugand troubleshoot code to ensure optimalperformance.


Documentation:

Createand maintain comprehensive documentation of programming code systemconfigurations and technicalspecifications.

Providedocumentation to support endusers and servicetechnicians.


Collaboration:

Workclosely with project engineers technicians and other team membersto achieve projectgoals.

Collaboratewith clients to understand specific programmingrequirements.


StayUpdated:

Keepabreast of industry trends new technologies and advancements in AVprogramming.

Attendtraining sessions and certifications to enhanceskills.



Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Provenexperience in AV system programming with a focus on Crestron and/orAMX.
  • Proficientin programming languages such as Crestron Simpl Crestron VTPro AMXNetLinx Studio andothers.
  • Strongtroubleshooting and debuggingskills.
  • Excellentcommunication and collaborationskills.

PreferredSkills:


  • Industrycertifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) or AMXCertified Expert (ACE) are aplus.
  • Familiaritywith video conferencing programming (e.g. Zoom Rooms MicrosoftTeamsRooms).
  • Experiencewith scripting languages (JavaScript Python) isadvantageous.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or arelated field. Proven experience in AV system programming, with afocus on Crestron and/or AMX.
