Firefighting
• Preparation of Firefighting Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Development of Firefighting layouts
• Preparation of Fire extinguisher layouts
• Preparation of Monitor and hose-reel coverage layouts
• Hydraulic calculation of deluge systems & preparation of report using PIPENET software
• Study of spray nozzle coverage for active fire protection systems
• Optimally locating DVs and other firefighting components in 3D model
• IBC compliance check with respect to Firefighting criteria for buildings
• Preparation of RFQ and TBE for firefighting equipment
• Review of firefighting vendor documents
• Extensive cognizance of standards such as NFPA 20, NFPA 22, NFPA 15, NFPA 13, NFPA 11, NFPA 2001, NFPA 12, NFPA 10

Loss Prevention
• Preparation of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) datasheets and layouts
• Preparation of Fire & Gas Design basis, Fire & Gas layouts and Cause & effect matrices
• Preparation of Fireproofing datasheets and layouts
• Preparation of Emergency escape route and Safety sign layouts
• Review and Implementation of safety study recommendations for QRA, FERA, F&G mapping
• Participating in HAZOP study and Design reviews
• IBC compliance check with respect to Loss prevention criteria for buildings
• Review of Safety equipment vendor documents
• Good knowledge of international standards such as API 505, IP15, API 2218, GE GAP 2.5.2, NFPA 72, NFPA 170, IEC, SAES, IMO, CAP 437, Shell DEP

University Degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering Science, or technical Environmental/ Sustainable Development-related subject Relevant standards and software skills Analytical skills and can systematically break a complex task into more manageable parts and identify the critical components of a problem Awareness of the business environment, sector markets and on-going innovation in technology and research in climate-related subjects and issues A strong communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills High-quality report writing and presentation skills Good organisational skills Keen to learn and to share learning with others Good at working in teams and flexible in thinking and in work methods
