TheRole:In todays digital eraengaging with online content has become increasingly prevalent. Weseek your expertise to bolster our digital presence in the market.As a Business Journalist at Retail Jeweller India you will play apivotal role in elevating our digital platform into a premiersource for industry insights. Your responsibilities will includecrafting compelling articles that delve into cuttingedge trends anddevelopments within the jewellery retail and marketing sectors. Youwill uncover critical stories from the jewellery economy spotlightinfluential figures and highlight emerging trends with both depthand flair.This role demands a fusion ofcreative storytelling and precise editing to produce content thatis both captivating and informative. You will be responsible forour daily and weekly newsletters as well as longform features. Ourgoal is to enhance our online presence ensuring it resonatespowerfully within theindustry.
KeyResponsibilities:Content Creation: Develop engagingfeature articles on the latest jewellery retail trends andmarketing strategies. Uncover and narrate important stories fromthe jewellery economy highlighting innovative practices andindustry leaders. Conduct indepth interviews with industry expertsand executives to gather valuable insights and perspectives.Transform complex reports into clear visually engaging stories withinfographics and multimedia elements.Writing and Editing: Craft captivatingheadlines informative captions and concise story summaries. Ensureall content is accurate coherent and aligns with our editorialstyle guides. Maintain consistency with our brand voice and adhereto high journalistic standards.Audience Engagement: Enhance theRetail DIVE Weekly Newsletter by integrating compelling andrelevant content that resonates with our readers. Monitor readerfeedback and engagement to continuously refine content strategiesand boost reader satisfaction.Collaboration and Coordination: Workclosely with the editorial team designers and other stakeholders toensure timely delivery of content. Cover industry events and forumsas needed providing thorough reporting andanalysis. ProfessionalGrowth: Stay abreast of industry trends marketdevelopments and business practices within the jewellery sector.Pursue opportunities for professional development and contribute tothe ongoing improvement of ourcontent.What We reLooking For:Education and Experience: A degree inJournalism with a minimum of 1 year of handson experience for thejunior position and a minimum of 5 years of experience in digitalmedia for the senior position.Skills: Exceptional writing andediting abilities with a talent for engaging storytelling.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Strong analytical skills to present complex information clearly.Familiarity with digital tools content management systems (CMS) andmultimedia content creation.Personal Traits: Selfmotivated withthe ability to work independently and manage time effectively in aremote setting.
