Cloud Software Engineer willcontribute to the design and development of cloud serviceapplications under a disciplined product development process thatmeets FDA and other regulatory agencies requirements. Work onsoftware design coding and validating software. Supportverification and validation testing unit testing and ensuring thatall product development conforms to design specifications andcoding standards for medical devices. Exercise judgment in codingfollowing the software designs and conducting investigationactivities following defined methods. Develop productiveinternal/external working relationships. Architect Design anddevelop highly scalable web and sever applications using Angularand other JavaScript frameworks
Build distributed cloud based microservices that can efficientlyscale with minimal effort.
Assistin the preparation of software design specifications forimplementation of software designs per Abbott design developmentprocess.
Assist in theevaluation of selected designs through testing and fulldocumentation of the results.
Work on problems of moderate to complex scope where analysis ofsituations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Exercise judgment within definedprocedures and practices to determine appropriateaction.
Implement high qualitysecure and robust applications with optimal performance suitablefor cloud deployment of applications.
Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams in all phases of lifecycle of the productdevelopment.
Should be able toevaluate and suggest new tools and technologies for overallimprovement of the product
Shouldbe able to work independently with limited support from other teammembers and be capable of leading product releases
Should be able to mentor juniorteam members and should be able to manage a small team of softwareengineers Bachelors degree in relevant engineering disciplinecomputer science related engineeringfield
. Minimum 2 years ofexperience in software development using Servertechnologies
Excellentcommunication skills and be able to work in a cohesive teamenvironment.
Proficient in JavaJavaScript TypeScript and SQL programming.
Minimum of 2 years experiencedeveloping Web applications using JavaScript frameworks likeAngular.
Minimum of 2 yearsexperience developing Java Spring based microservicesapplications
Experience withserverside technologies: Spring JPA JMS and Web Service(SOAP/RESTful).
Should have avery good understanding of Container technologies like DockerKubernetes
Experience with Azurecloud technologies such as API Manager ADB2C Azure ADAK
Should be familiar with SCMtools such as Git BitBucket AccuRev etc.
Experience in relationaldatabases: PostgresSQL and OraclePreferred
Good understanding ofserver technologies like: JBoss EAP server WebSphere MQLDAP
Exposure to front endtechnologies: JSP JSTL Struts 2 andJQuery
