  • Any matter which may effect theinterests of Novotel Chennai ChamiersRoad be brought to the attention of theManagement.
  • Ensure to evaluate user needs andsystem functionality.
  • Ensure that all SoftwareLicenses and laws are adhered to.
  • Plan directand control all daytoday information systemsfunctions.
  • Plan and approve equipment andsoftware purchases related to systems (operating systems relatedsoftware storage devices etc.).
  • Establish andmaintain seamless coordination & cooperation with alldepartments of the hotel to ensure maximum cooperation productivitymorale and guest service.
  • Develop and maintaineffective relationships with all thedepartments.
  • Respond to queries by resolvingissues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensurethat the team has been trained for all safetyprovisions.
  • Ensure that all personnel are keptwell informed of departments objectives andpolicies.
  • Motivate and develop team to ensuresmooth functioning of the department and promoteteamwork.
  • Prepare operational reports andanalyze new trends.
  • Identify optimal costeffective use of the resources and educate the team on thesame.
  • Determine fiscal and physicalrequirements for all the departments of the hotel prepare budgetaryrecommendations.
  • Conduct periodic and annualinventory audits of the equipment & recommend replacementof equipment as required
  • Direct and coordinatedatabase management network administration and user supportservices
  • Liaise with external agencies andequipment manufacturers to ensure effective management of thedepartment.
  • Ensure the smooth running of allsystems printer antivirus software and emailfacilities.
  • Ensure to approve and recommendtechnology equipment and software as per therequirements.
  • To assign duties inspect work andinvestigate complaints regarding service and equipment and hencetake corrective action.
  • Coordinate operationswith Department Coordinators Supervisors and other DepartmentalManagers to ensure operational readiness efficiency in resourceutilization and the prompt delivery ofservices.
  • Leadership skills that utilizepersuasion and motivation to attainorganizational       goals is the most desirable management quality followed by honestyintegrity ethical behaviour tactfulness openness and culturalawareness;
