Provide experiencedtechnical expertise to develop process methodology for departmentto meet internal and external clients needs. Plan and coordinatethe development of integrated programming solutions serving thefull spectrum of statistical programming needs. Provide technicalexpertise and leadership to the department. Provide internalconsulting services including specifications and user needsanalysis for complex project or client requirements.

Essential Functions

Perform plan and coordinate the following for complexstudies: (i) the programming testing and documentation ofstatistical programs for use in creating statistical tables figuresand listing summaries and (ii) the programming of analysisdatabases (derived datasets) and transfers of data for internal andexternal clients. May perform and plan the programming of databasequality control checks.

Program and plan theintegration of databases from multiple studies orsources.

Develop and coordinate programmingdocumentation including plans and specifications as appropriate forcomplex studies.

Provide advanced technicalexpertise in conjunction with internal and external clients andindependently bring project solutions to teams and department forcomplex studies.

Perform plan and coordinatethe development implementation and validation of new processtechnologies macros and applications.

Fulfillproject responsibilities at the level of statstical team lead forsingle complex studies or group of studies.

Understand the Scope of Work budget and quote assumptions estimatethe work completed manage Out of Scope and resource forecasts forsingle studies. May manage project budget and resource requirementsand provide revenue forecasts for single studies.

Provide training and guidance to lower levelstaff.

Qualifications

Masters /Bachelors in Computer science or related fieldand 7 years relevant experiance

Equivalentcombination of education training and experience in lieu of degreeReq

Knowledge of statistics programming and/orclinical drug development process

Advancedknowledge of computing applications such as Base SAS SAS Graph andSAS Macro Language

Good organizationalinterpersonal leadership and communication skills

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks andprojects

Excellent accuracy and attention todetail

Ability to establish and maintaineffective working relationships with coworkers managers andclients
