ETL Business Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented ETL Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL mapping, data mapping, and data warehousing concepts, along with expertise in SQL. As an ETL Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for ETL processes, ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for ETL processes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ETL mappings.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the accurate and efficient implementation of ETL processes.
- Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Create and maintain documentation related to ETL mappings, data models, and data dictionaries.
- Conduct testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for ETL-related issues.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data warehousing and ETL.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in ETL projects, with a strong understanding of ETL mapping, data mapping, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
