We are Outbrain.

Outbrain is seeking a talented and analytical individual to join our Yield Team as a Yield Analyst. In this role, you will be part of a team of individuals working towards optimizing company performance and profitability by developing our prediction and alerting systems and processes for identifying trends and anomalies, conducting in-depth analyses related to network performance and providing actionable insights to drive revenue growth and enhance overall performance.

A day in the life

Utilize advanced analytical techniques to evaluate and analyze network performance metrics Identify anomalies from expected performance. Provide a root cause analysis and present findings to internal teams and management in a clear and concise manner Assist our team’s data scientists in developing and maintaining our predictive models by keeping a close connection with the business key stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and visualize model outputs effectively and create compelling visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders Collaborate with the Yield Team and other relevant stakeholders to develop strategies for optimizing revenue and yield across the network. Continuously monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed. Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions or challenges. Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes

What you’ll bring

3+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in the digital advertising industry. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis. Experience with Tableau data visualization tool. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication, visualization and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and a passion for driving continuous improvement
