You’ll make a difference by:

Is accountable for the Delivery of Cabling Integrationoutputs, in compliance with the Engineering Quality Cost and Deliverycommitments. Ensure an efficient interface & alignment withinternal / External stakeholders such as Engineering, Procurement, IndustrialDesign, Manufacturing, Project management, suppliers & subcontractors forassigned project / Tender. Collaborate with other functional groups to managerequirements and provide inputs for interfacing with Controls, electrical andmechanical groups. Organize Design reviews as per project/Tender milestonesand get necessary approvals for design release. Responsible for Requirement management for the allocatedsystem. Cable trays/Cable ducts design and mounting definition. Ability to understand the Schematic drawing for Cablingdesign. Cabling routing in CREO 4.0 using Cabling work bench. Bundling/Segregation of harnesses based on the EMC(Electromagnetic Compatibility) classification. Working knowledge of EN50343, EN45545, EN60529, EN50155,EN50121-3-2. Mounting of Electrical equipment’s in Cab, Roof & Underfloor. Responsible for integration of Inter-vehicle Jumpercables and Earthing /Grounding. Bogie and Underframe Electrical mounting definitions. Responsible for Junction boxes design, Mounting andcomplete harness routing (Structure definition, Welding, fastening definition,circuit brackets, relays and other communication and signaling equipment’s asper electrical architecture). Equipment position definition and interface development;including but not limited to CCTV camera, Speakers, LCD display, Dynamic routemonitor. Responsible for the Localization & FAI for Cablingassemblies & Junction boxes. Preparation and documentation for type test and participationin type test. Creation of 2D drawings for parts, assemblies, andinstallations.

Your success is grounded in:

Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years’ relevant experience inCabling Integration preferably in Rolling Stock. Thorough professionals know how of Cabling – Design,development, manufacturing & validation. Ability to implement existing process and approaches inhis domain. Demonstrate Problem-solving competence. Knowhow and use Creo, PDM link & SAP will be addedadvantage. Has already worked (preferably) with Train builders. Able to demonstrate management of engineering teams. Being agile, ability to prioritize and to workeffectively under pressure to meet the deadline. Able to work in an international & multicultural environmentwithin a matrix organization structure. Good written and spoken communication skills (inEnglish). Ready to travel locally and internationally as and whenrequired by projects.
