What you will be doing
Development, designing and building mobile applications for Android platform.
- Write code, perform unit testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
- Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
- Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
- Fixing application bugs before the final release.
- Debug code, and design, implement, integrate, and test solutions in frontend applications.
- Collaborate across development, test, product, design and support teams to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose
- Analysis incidents to understand root cause, and contribute to tooling, tests, and documentation to facilitate investigation and prevention of future issues.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies including grooming, planning, stand-up, demos, and retrospectives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and Effective communication skills.
- Able to work as a cross-functional team member as various areas like Developer, UX/UI, Quality Assurance within team.
What you will be doing
- Delivery of assigned development tasks Android projects.
- Adherence to defined development processes including frameworks, design/code reviews, unit testing
- Complete ownership of assigned tasks, proactive approach to ensuring that deliveries are on time and with a high level of quality.
- Good Co-ordinating with counterparts in the US with regard to their day-to-day delivery.
What you bring:
- Preferably 4-8 years of experience in developing Android applications.
- Strong knowledge in Core Java, Android SDK and Android IDE Android Studio.
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Should have Kotlin basics hands-on with the ability to write code in Kotlin.
- Good in OOPs fundamentals.
- Strong working knowledge of SQLite, Room Database.
- Experience in RESTful API.
- Experience with third-party libraries like support libraries, Google play services, Firebase SDK, Retrofit.
- Working knowledge of Android Unit Testing.
- Having knowledge in GitHub.
- Working knowledge of Android design patterns like MVC, MVVM, MVP.
- Having Experience in Material Design.
