RequirementsTechnical Expertise: Must have a strongtechnical background and understanding of card payment processesincluding authorization clearing and settlement as well asinteractions between issuers acquirers and paymentnetworks.
Stakeholder Engagement:Engage with customers financial institutions merchants and internalengineering teams requiring a deep understanding of technicalfeasibility and constraints.
Having a customerfocusedmindset and being able to articulate customerproblems/needs.
Participating in intakediscussions.
Understanding technical requirements andensuring they are clearly defined and aligned with businessgoals.
Maintaining the product backlog with a view togoals for the next 6 months.
Prioritizing thebacklog.
Articulating feature hypotheses and evaluatingthe outcomes of each feature.
Defining stories fordownstream teams to work on and breaking prioritized features forfunctional initiatives into acceptable user stories.
Providing initial sizing and level of effort.
Preparingupdates for customer communication internal documents technical andfunctional specs and internal and external training.
Walking through features/stories with the feature team andassisting in the scoring of points.
Owning theacceptance criteria and reviewing test cases.
Participating in Sprint Planning Retros and Demos.
Validating demos and showcasing products defining API requirementsand creating and maintaining documentation as part of theSDLC.
